After receiving a favorable draft slot (No. 5 overall), Bakken BBQ had a stellar performance. After picking up multiple Cowboys in the early rounds (CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott), Bakken BBQ are predicted to finish 2nd in The Crude Life with a mark of 13-2 (2,211 points).
Bakken BBQ’s Biggest Steal of the Draft: Marquise Brown
Bakken BBQ notched a nice late-round value in selecting Brown at No. 140, about 12 spots later than his ADP of 128. Coming off a season in which he hauled in 58 passes for 769 yards and 8 TDs, totaling 154 fantasy points, Brown is projected to score 189 fantasy points with the Ravens. That makes him a valuable No. 4 WR for this squad.
Bakken BBQ’s Biggest Stretch Pick of the Draft: Robby Anderson
Are you in a sharing mood? We’d love to know what prompted the selection of Anderson in the 6th round, about 16 slots earlier than his ADP of 84. Granted, you may be onto something. Projected to score 203 fantasy points this season with the Panthers, he looks poised to outperform last year when he snagged 95 passes for 1,096 yards and 3 TDs, totaling 177 fantasy points. Based on projected points, Anderson will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Bakken BBQ to begin the season.
Bakken BBQ face a tough task in Week 6 when they have five players on a bye (Alvin Kamara, Younghoe Koo, San Francisco, Wil Lutz, and Trey Lance). Sterling’s Super Team, your Week 6 opponent, won’t be quite as encumbered with only one player (Calvin Ridley) on a bye.
According to projected records, Bakken BBQ have an easy road in The Crude Life this season with a strength of schedule that ranks as the easiest. That doesn’t mean you can coast through the season, though. Soft schedules can become problematic at any time if you’re not active.
Bakken BBQ seem to be counting on veteran leadership to rein in youthful exuberance, assembling a balanced squad with an average of 4.3 years of NFL experience, ranking in the middle of the pack for the league. They selected one rookie (Trey Lance). In total, there were 12 rookies selected over the course of the The Crude Life draft.
Bakken BBQ clearly focused on collecting high-level talent, having assembled a Stars-and-Scrubs style group of players. The top players from each position, combined, are quite potent, projected to tally the 3rd-highest point total in The Crude Life. Alternatively, the rest of the roster is less inspiring, as they’re predicted to combine for a point total that ranks 12th.
