Led By Two Skol Chants And The Force Of The Norse, Korwell Energy Drafted Like An Expert

"SKOL VIKINGS" reads an Adopt a Highway sign along Highway 70 near Pine City, Minnesota.

After drawing a juicy draft position (No. 2 overall), Korwell Energy had an excellent performance. After picking up multiple Vikings in the early rounds (Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen), Korwell Energy are predicted to finish 3rd in The Crude Life with a record of 11-4 (2,184 points).

Korwell Energy’s Biggest Steal of the Draft: Mecole Hardman

Korwell Energy notched a nice late-round bargain when they selected Hardman with the 11th pick in the 12th round, about 18 slots later than his ADP of 125. Following a season in which he racked up 41 receptions for 560 yards and 4 TDs, totaling 108 fantasy points, Hardman is projected to score 182 fantasy points with the Chiefs. That makes him a valuable No. 4 WR for this squad.

Kowell Energy’s Biggest Stretch of the Draft: Brandon Aiyuk

We’re going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you stepped away right before the selection of Aiyuk in the 4th round, about 16 picks earlier than his ADP of 63. You could be onto something, though. Projected to score 201 fantasy points this season with the 49ers, he seems set to take a step forward from his rookie year when he snagged 60 passes for 748 yards and 5 TDs over 12 games, earning 155 fantasy points. According to projected points, Aiyuk will slot in as the No. 3 WR for Korwell Energy to begin the season.

Korwell Energy kicked off a run on the kicker position, taking Justin Tucker with the 2nd pick of the 9th round as the first K off the draft board. Five more kickers went in the following round.

Korwell Energy face a tough task in Week 8 when they have four players on a bye (Justin Tucker, Bryan Edwards, Kenyan Drake, and Baltimore). Bakken BBQ, your Week 8 opponent, won’t be quite as limited with only one player (Marquise Brown) on the sideline.

Korwell Energy face one of the least challenging schedules in The Crude Life this season based on projections with a strength of schedule rated as the 2nd easiest.

Korwell Energy have compiled a fairly young lineup with an average of 4.2 years of NFL experience, ranking as the 3rd-youngest group in the league. In spite of that, they didn’t pick any of the 12 rookies drafted.
