Daniel Stenberg, McKenzie County Economic Development and Job Authority, gives an update from the heart of the Bakken oil field.
Watford City and McKenzie County are considered the “hot zone” for the Bakken and have been seeing an increase in births at their local hospitals as well as opening a second elementary school.
Stenberg also shares information on several loan programs the city and county are offering in order to attract single families and oilfield workers.
COVID, new businesses, Main Street and surrounding community economies are also discussed in the interview.
