HOUR ONE PLAY HARD:   Jason Spiess and Sterling recap a few more interviews from the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference.

Play Hard dives into the real important elements of life early on, which is morning meeting sustenance. Especially if you are trying to get a group of sales people to listen. Jason tells a story of how two C-Stores were out of Donuts, so he ended up with some Egg McMuffins a McDonald’s drive thru.

Sterling’s daughter has a choir concert so Jason had to play the part of Debbie Downer and ask if this was CDC High Alert. Sterling breaks down the new rules for a junior high choir concert and how the picking of attendees are now on a junior high kids’ anxiety list of inclusion.

The Hoover Dam’s awesome and amazing teamwork is discussed and Jason wondered if America could even pull off the American Modern Marvel with it’s civil division.

The Bakken BBQ and the Shale Energy Resources are previewed as upcoming Live and Local Recording Sessions.

In News, Rumors and Newsspeak of the Play Hard Segment, Jason wonders why more and more “mainstream” news outlets are reporting on a problem that doesn’t exist. If Line 5 in Michigan has never had an issue with the integrity of the pipe, shouldn’t that be the story rather than a Governor upset at Fossil Fuels? Jason dissects the news story and predicts this is the start of a future “International Protest” brought on by Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) and her position of power, control over media advertising resources and access to her political office.

Jason and Sterling pontificate if America would reform overnight if there was a National Voting Day and an itemized receipt from the IRS. Kitchen table budget talks about go well beyond long distance phone calls into Planned Parenthood, NRA and local rich folk.

In HOUR TWO we WORK HARD with our Newsmaker Interview: Kyle Barnoff, Trigger Energy, Jason Spiess with The Crude Life and Shawn Forbes of OG Directory.

Barnoff starts off the interview with describing the positive vibe at the WBPC and how it feels good to be back in the Bakken. He shares a story about cutting his teeth in the Bakken and listening to The Crude Life on the local radio stations.

He also explains what Trigger Energy does and their history. From Frac Cannons to Frac Rails to Wellhead Systems, the processes are discussed.

The three discuss how the Shale Play Revolution is really a technology boom driven by oil and gas, which is creating new jobs and elimnated old ones.

“These guys aren’t slinging chains anymore,” Spiess said. “More and more are clicking and clacking keys on the computer.”

Barnoff gives an update from the Permian Basin and how COVID impcated their business.

The Hammer Test, Sand Box Era and coexisting with government regulatiuons are also topic in the Work Hard segment of The Crude Life Morning Show.
