Rough Rider Center Scores An ‘A’ For Their Draft Picks

According to Yahoo! Sports, having the first pick in the draft doesn’t always lead to championships. It very well could in this case, though.

The Rough Rider Center did what top-tier fantasy footballers do when they land the No. 1 overall pick. They put together a juggernaut. The team is especially strong at the running back position, as Christian McCaffrey and Myles Gaskin are expected to combine for the highest point total of all starting RB groups in the league.

The Rough Rider Center are projected to finish in first place in The Crude Life Fantasy Football League with a mark of 14-1 (2,225 points). We shall see once the season starts Thursday September 9.

Rough Rider Center’s Biggest Steal: Myles Gaskin

What a mid-round bargain for Rough Rider Center, who picked up Gaskin at No. 96, about three rounds later than his ADP of 63. Coming off a season in which he rushed for 624 yards and 3 TDs and hauled in 44 balls for 410 yards and 2 TDs in 11 games, totaling 144 fantasy points, Gaskin is projected to score 209 fantasy points with the Dolphins. That makes him a valuable No. 2 RB for this squad.

Rough Rider Center’s Biggest Reach Pick: Tyler Boyd

You may have gotten a little too excited when making the decision to draft Boyd with the 1st pick in the 7th round, about 26 spots earlier than his ADP of 99. Granted, maybe you’re onto something? Projected to score 186 fantasy points this season with the Bengals, he looks poised to top last year when he recorded 79 receptions for 841 yards and 4 TDs, posting 153 fantasy points. Boyd will slot in as the No. 4 WR for Rough Rider Center, according to projections.
Draft Notes

Rough Rider Center went especially deep at wide receiver, taking the most of any team in the league with seven, outpacing the league average of just 5.4.

If you’re not first, you’re last, so good thing you were first. You got the jump on your opponents at quarterback, drafting Patrick Mahomes (No. 25 overall) as the first QB off the board.

Rough Rider Center face a tough challenge in Week 14 when they have four players on a bye (Myles Gaskin, DeVonta Smith, Rodrigo Blankenship, and Zach Ertz). Your Week 14 opponent, Team Oilify, won’t be quite as hamstrung with only two players (Miles Sanders and Jaylen Waddle) getting the week off.

Rough Rider Center have a fairly balanced schedule in The Crude Life this season according to projections with a strength of schedule rated middle-of-the-pack.
