Year In Review 2020: Climate Activists Moving Ahead of Petroleum Leaders

It’s time once again for our Annual Year In Review interviews! Last February 2020, Terry Etam, author of “The End of the Fossil Fuel Insanity“, writer at the BOE Report and blogger for his blog Public Energy Number One, discusses the rise of environmentalism in energy and economy.

Etam, who lives and works in Canada, explains the difference between US energy production and Canadian energy development and why so many companies from Canada are doing business in the United States.

The term “energy poverty” is also discussed in detail.

“…you are right the climate activists are so far ahead of us in the petroleum sector as far as the messaging and the smearing. They have an army of people doing this. If you go to any climate activist website, there’s like dozens here in Canada, but just pull up one of their websites. Go to 350.org or go to Green Peace or the Sierra Club, go to any of these and just look at the army of people they have working for them. I don’t know where all the money comes from, but it’s a lot of money from the likes of Michael Bloomberg and whatnot. But they are well paid professionals who sit there and do nothing. All they are trying to do is undermine the petroleum sector and push their agenda…”
