Guests/Topics:   Terry Etam, author of “The End of the Fossil Fuel Insanity“, writer at the BOE Report and blogger for his blog Public Energy Number One, discusses the rise of environmentalism in energy and economy.

Etam, who lives and works in Canada, explains the difference between US energy development and Canadian energy development and why so many companies from Canada are doing business in the United States.

The term “energy poverty” is discussed in detail. Host Jason Spiess poses the question if “energy poverty” is just another word play for governments and special interest groups to usher in socialism. Spiess argues by eliminating the energy marketplace by regulation, the economy would be completely impacted beyond repair for Capitalism to work.

The interview dives into results and examples from renewable energy in Europe and Canada to illustrate what will come, in spite of the growing American Eco-Movement and attitude towards fossil fuels.

Children and Public Health are also thrown into the conversation of politics, environment and special interests. Capitalism, renewable energy, natural gas, pipelines and International energy is also discussed in the interview.

Matt Kruse, owner, Huskerland Oilfield Services, talks about his background growing up in Nebraska, playing/coaching baseball in Oklahoma and is now doing oilfield work in Texas and North Dakota.
