/

Jake Milne, William Insulation Co., gives an update on the Rocky Mountain region in oil and gas. Milne works with many industries and gives examples of how different industries are viewing the energy industry in 2020. Milne opines about politics in energy and how difficult it is to have a discussion about work without it turning into a political debate. The use of children in climate change, Donald Trump’s policies and Colorado’s War on Oil and Gas are also discussed in the interview.

Daniel Stenberg, McKenzie Co. Job Development Authority, discusses a loan program designed to encourage more housing development. Increasing school enrollment, births and the job market are discussed as well. McKenzie County’s oil production is projected to rise from its current production around 16 million barrels a month to between 18-20 million barrels a month by 2022. Further, statewide production is projected to hit 2 million barrels a day by 2040, while at the same time the number of statewide producing wells are expected to increase from 15,942 to 65,000.

Spread the word. Support the industry. Share the energy.
