Interviews: Vicky Steiner and Geoff Simon, Western Dakota Energy Association
Steiner and Simon talk about the changes in Western North Dakota and the Bakken oil fields. Stiener also talks about her past role as executive director, which will end December 31, 2017. Simon will be taking over as the new executive director of the Association.
Steiner goes into detail regarding a six-city study the WDEA is taking part in. The cities include Dickinson, Tioga, Williston, Killdeer, Watford City and Stanley. She also talks about the tax formula and how that will play into future budgets.
Simon discusses his vision with the WDEA and how it will operate in the Bakken. He also shares his observations from an around the Bakken tour of oil and gas producing cities.
