Lavin also talks about the importance of community relations in oil and gas as well as faith. From the early days of American Oil when a pastor was contracted by oil companies to provide a path for an individual to make choices towards a positive ethical direction to today with Oilfield Connections International’s weekly conference-call-style prayer group.

The interview was conducted at a benefit for Teen Recovery Solutions at the Quail Creek Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Lavin is also the co-host of #FossilFuelFridays with Matt Hill.
