Huber talks about the United Way of Cass Clay and how their community fundraising efforts have changed over the past decade.
She describes the 4 Community Goals of the United Way and explains why they have gone away from the Community Chest model. Huber also local and global communication and network the United Way has across the planet.
Continuing the fund raising talk, Huber explains in detail how the “workplace campaign” works, giving as little as $6-per-paycheck.
Circling back to community building, Huber talks about the backpack drives, 35-Under-35 campaign and other community building and networking events.
