Tiffany Steiner and Jackie Jenkin, co-founders of the Bakken BBQ, talk about the changes COVID has created with the 8th Annual Bakken BBQ.

Steiner said they have lost a few cookers in the past couple of weeks due to market conditions and COVID concerns, but donations are up and some companies are still calling to see if they can make a last minute decision.

In 2019, the Bakken BBQ raised $100K for Make A Wish ND

Jenkin thanked the sponsors and volunteers, then transitioned into an overview of the itinerary of events. From the live auction to the kiddie corner to the trophy competition.

The Crude Life host Jason Spiess chimed in with the Living The Crude Life Live Recording Session happening the night before the Bakken BBQ. Steiner and Jenkin are both scheduled to participate in the panel along with Bismarck Mayor Steve Bakken and Watford City’s Patrick Bertagnolli. The topic for the Live Recording Session is “How Oil and Gas Builds Culture and Community”.

The Bakken BBQ raises money for Make A Wish North Dakota and offers a raffle with some pretty impressive prizes like a RZR 900, Ranger XP 900, Yeti Cooler, Henry Lever Rifle, Viking Tickets and much more
