Kansas Strong (Kansas Oil and Natural Gas Producers) will hold a free Oilfield Worker Appreciation Celebration on Friday, October 9, 2026, in Pratt, continuing a series of thank-you events the organization has run across the state through 2026.
The celebration is open to all oilfield workers — both field and office personnel — and one guest. Organizers describe the event as a straightforward thank-you built around free food, free drinks, and raffle giveaways.
“This is a time to celebrate the hard work and vital job all oilfield workers contribute to keep America moving forward,” Kansas Strong stated in event materials.

The Pratt event follows two spring 2026 Kansas Strong celebrations — an April 10 gathering at the Oil and Gas Museum in Great Bend, and a May 7 event in Chanute tied to the EKOGA Mid-Year Closing.
Kansas Strong is currently recruiting sponsors for Pratt across five tiers: a Pumper Sponsorship (raffle item), Driller Sponsorship ($250/event), Wildcat Sponsorship ($350/event), Black Gold Sponsorship ($500/event), and Title Sponsorship ($1,000/event). Organizers say only one Title Sponsorship slot remains for the event.
Pratt’s sponsor roster so far includes Title Sponsors Jayhawk Oilfield Supply Inc. and Hurricane Services Inc. (HSI), along with Sunrise Oilfield Supply.
Kansas Strong is also planning a second fall celebration in Russell, though a location has not been finalized; organizers say they are seeking a venue that can accommodate roughly 120 people and are still recruiting sponsors for that event.
