Alma Cook, Cook Compliance Solutions talks about how Alma, a female environmentally minded professional gravitated to industry. She explains how her brother in Thailand was the catalyst for her journey in oil and gas.

Texas Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick is also honored for her service in Texas and the industry. Commissioner Craddick talks about the idea that having rules and regulations is one of the best ways to make sure that the practices in the field maintain the safety practices. There are about 150 inspectors for the oil and gas division, approximately 30 people inspecting the coal and coal mines, and around 70 inspectors in the pipeline division and they’re out in the field everyday to help make sure everyone is in compliance with the rules and regulations.

Mich Hager addresses the crowd at the Bakken BBQ where she was honored on stage for her work and engagement with industry and community.

Mich Hager, K9 Pipe Inspections talks about her path with dogs in the oil and gas industry detecting leaks in pipelines. Hager is back from the Permian where her dogs were working hard in the cold desert. Hager explains how her dogs are more accurate than many of the automated sensors and robotics. What the training is like and what kinds of dogs she has working for her.

Chewy Pawz is an all natural elk, deer, moose, and caribou antler chews for dogs. Hager talks about how the company was started and which sheds are preferred by which dogs.

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon is all in with energy in Wyoming. The Governor talks oil, gas, wind, solar and hydrogen.
