The Crude Life and Houser Announce Content Creation Agreement

The Crude Life is adding to its content creators and news contributor efforts through a new, wide-ranging partnership with media professional Genneca Houser.

“We are very excited to be working with Genneca,” The Crude Life host Jason Spiess said. “I’ve worked with Genneca for years on other projects and media interviews. She’s a pro and personally, I am excited to see her grab that brass ring and just go for it.”

Houser will begin interviewing government and industry officials as part of her first project, Year in Review and Year Ahead interviews.

Houser was born and raised in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. She grew up participating in church, acting in community theatre, playing instruments and singing whenever possible.

Growing up, Houser rode horses with her sister, traveled with her grandparents, and in high school she was involved in everything from Band/Choir and the dance team to ROTC and being an Editor in Journalism/Yearbook.

Furthermore, her mom is an High School English teacher and her dad a hard-working entrepreneur, so there was no shortage of encouragement to be a critical thinker in the Froelich household.

After High School, Houser moved to Casper, Wyoming for a few years for college. She moved back to the Black Hills in 2014 with her husband and their daughter. Since then, they have put together an underground music events company called Dirty DAHG Productions

They had been traveling together to perform their own original music since 2010, and brought that knowledge back to South Dakota to put together multiple successful music performance series to showcase the original artistry from the tri-state area.

Genneca ventured onto the radio through an awesome opportunity in April of 2018, by accepting an on-air position at The Country Twins radio station in Belle Fourche.

Eventually, she came to be general manager of the station until the economic impacts of covid brought it to an end. Now she is an independent content contributor working from wherever life takes her.

For more information or to contact Houser for interview consideration (or music production), email genneca.houser@gmail.com.
