Interview: David Williams, CEO, Missouri River Resources, New Town, ND

Williams talks about the company’s quest to empower generations of Native Americans by creating an oil company that can provide jobs and generational wealth.  The MHA Nation has about 20% of the Bakken oil reserves under their land.

Williams also explains why Native American oil extraction is different than other oil companies, due to government intervention.  He also discusses what it is like working with the Federal Government, Bureau of Land Management and the Bureaus of Indian Affairs.

In addition, Missouri River Resources is attempting to employ 100% Native Americans within their company.  From geologists to chemists to administration, the goal is to have every job filled by a trained and educated Native American.  Williams shares how they are working with a college in New Mexico that specializes in Shale Play education, in order to prepare the Native Americans for any shale play in the US.

Williams also gives a preview of their 2017 and 2018 outlook in energy extraction.
